theres this old movie but its still in color about this guy who buys this cape in an old shop and when he puts it on he becomes a vampire and at the end his girlfriend puts on the cape and become a vampire and kills the guy what is this what Im looking for

...sounds very much like one of the segments in an early '70's horror anthology, called "The House That Dripped Blood"; if I recall correctly, the guy that you are referring to, was a fading British horror actor, who finds the cursed cape in an antique shop, and it helps to revive his career...
