Hey,

I need to do a youtube video explaining the concept of the fundamental attribution error to college kids. I think the best way is to show examples of TV or movie clips. Can you think of any? I would prefer funny clips Humor is good...

What is the fundamental attribution error? Basically, the tendency to attribute behavior to internal qualities while underrating the role of the situation. For example: If a person is driving erratically, we say, "He can't drive!" or "He's stupid -- get that person of the road!". We always attribute their behavior to internal qualities, as opposed to external ones (the driver must be in a hurry or feeling sick).

Thanks!!!! Let me know if you can find a clip If you have a link, it's a plus!!!!
