Thread: Favorite Obscure 70s Films?

The 70s were a turbulent time for movies, because the studio system had all but collapsed, and producers had no idea what sort of films would attracted the most viewers under the new ratings system. In some ways, the 70s gave new directors quite a bit of freedom to experiment with different ways to tell genre films, or even to attempt to try to invent new genres; as a result, quite a few very odd films were made during the decade and some good films from the era have slipped into obscurity.

I would like those who remember the seventies, or those who weren't around then but who still take an interest in some of the lesser known films of that decade to list one or more of your favorite obscure films from back in the days.

For an example, I'm interested in films like "Slither" (with James Cann) or the strange horror film ''The Car" to cite two dissimiliar 70s films.
