Thread: Ever seen the movie "Pan's Labyrinth?"?

I just saw it a couple days ago, and I absolutely LOVED it. I can't believe I was skeptical about liking it at first. I thought it might be confusing and just weird. But, turns out, I adored it. It's sooo unique and easy to understand, and I loved Ofelia and Mercedes. I'm sooo glad I rented it! What do you think? Oh yeah, I also love the soundtrack to it - talk about gorgeous, dreamy, emotional music!

It was great!! My theory is that Ofelia is not imagining everything and she really does go into a fantasy world that parallels ours. But only people who are good at heart like Mercedes can see glimpses of that world (the chalk outline). People who are rotten (Capitán) cannot see any remnants of the other world.

Yeah everyone in our family says I was looking too far into it. But it was a wonderful movie!
