GH: How did you Sam fans?

How did you get pass all of the stuff she did, and I don't mean like the cheating and lying b/c that's just normal on soaps, but mainly the whole Jake kidnapping thing when I saw that I said to myself well maybe I can still like her, but then to hire two men to terrorize Liz and her two boys was just so wrong I mean that could have left Cameron traumatized. Like I'm really trying so hard to like her but every time I see her I just go back to that same image, so what I'm asking is how did you guys find the courage to still like her?
