I'm currently with Sprint and have had my LG Rumor for a bit over a year now. Recently the screen has stopped working, and I've had to get a new (cheap) cell phone to hold me off until I switch to Verizon in April.

For this reason, I had to buy a phone online, a Motorola ic402, because Sprint wouldn't give me a discount on a phone unless I renewed my contract with them.

While a man at the Sprint store was trying to transfer my data over, he told he that it wasn't working. Once he put the SIM card in, the screen said "In Progress." It has now said that for 8 hours. The phone is fully charged.

Is something wrong with the SIM card? Are the phones just not compatible to do a data transfer? Any advice would help!
