My Mobile Phone Stopped Working When i Put My Charger in?

uh hey,
i put my charger for my mobilephone into the powerboard thing[into the wall] and when i put the charger into my fone it stopped, i tried to turn it on but it wont work! we have tried lots of things but can you help me please??
