I know there are various stores and places online that sell skins/gel skins for cell phones, but i want to create my own from scratch, how do I do this? What are the proper steps to take?

For the more popular phones, wireless providers sell a kit so you can make your own at home. If I was you though, I would buy one from a professional. It may cost more, but it may end up being worth it since you know that it will come out looking good. I know that Verizon has it not only for cell phones, but laptops, MP3 players, and gaming devices. Depending on what you get, the price will differ.
