What is the worst sitch. I can be in after a short sale in regards to rec....
...a 1099 afterwards? I do not live in the property. I have read on that the best hope I have is to prove that I was insovlent at time of sale or afterwards. I do plan to speak with a professional on this but I just want some tips on how to best approach this when I receive the 1099. From what I understnad I will receive one since I live in CA.
