Thread: What should I do about this 4000 360 marketplace points ebay purchase?

i bought this on ebay, then an hour later the seller messages me and says you gonna send the money, then he messages me the name email and password, but his auction didnt say anywhere that the points would be tied to an account already it just leads you to believe your getting 4000 points redeem code for your own gamertag, he also only has 90% feedback

oh yeah, and he may have messaged me the gamertag email and password before i paid, but im not touching that account

You bought a phished account. 4000 Microsoft Points were purchased with a hacked credit card and put onto the account. You can purchase anything you want and it will be just as good on YOUR account. The only thing you can't do is change your gamertag since the points aren't on YOUR account. If you do decide to pay, you will need to use all the points before 48 hours because Microsoft is going to deactivate the account since what was done to it is illegal.

I agree, file for a false sale so you don't have to pay.
