Thread: Ultimate mortal kombat 3 missing from the xbox live marketplace?

So i downloaded ultimate mk3 from xbox live arcade a while back...and now i can't find the download in the marketplace...I can still play the game..but it has disapeared from the marketplace...My friend wanted to download it but can't find it...anybody know how he could download it or why it is now gone?

You cant download UMK3 because the game was released to early on Friday, October 20, 2006 but it was quickly pulled about 20 minutes later.The decision was made to go on and release the game on Saturday morning, four days before its scheduled release date. In February 2010, the game can not be downloaded as it was removed from Xbox LIVE Arcade due to "publisher evolving rights and permissions". Those who still own the game (like you) (and is still on people's Hard Disk Drive or Memory Card) can still play 2-player socially online. However, Ranked play for UMK3 is unavailable on the Xbox LIVE servers until more information.
