Thread: Traded in car and my wife never signed the title.?

I recently traded in my car on another car. When I got home I noticed some issues with the car I just bought. I tried contacting the dealer the next day after buying the car and they blew me off. A few weeks later the dealer started calling me because they sold the car that I traded in and they had issues with the title because my wife was also on the title and she never signed off on it. Should I play hardball and try to get them to fix the issues with the car I just bought? I know its illegal for them to sell a car without a good tite!

You are right, they can't sell the car without the title being properly signed over to them. But lots of luck in holding this over their head for them to fix your problems. Might work, might not.
