midnight sales?

i have never been to a midnight sale... but i am going to the GTA4 sale. how does this work? my friend said that they start the sale at 8pm the night before release and stay open til 12am. is that how they do it or they re-open the store at 12am? i would call and find out but its 3am here right now... thanks

no, nothing to do with camping. best buy and gamestop are having midnight sales as well. they have midnight sales for the biggest games like halo 3 and now GTA4... i've always thought that they start selling at 12am. until my friend said that they start selling the game at 8pm and close the store later(12am)

I am going to gamestop for mine and they close at 9. they are going to open the sstores back up at around 10 and so you can browse but they cant sell them untill a minute after midnite

The stores close at their regular hours. What your friend probably meant to say is the time the camping starts. What usually happens is people start to camp outside the store one day before and stay there until opening (usually at midnight).
