I don't really NEED a new phone right now, and I'm trying to get the best deal possible...do you think it will be cheaper within a year, or should I just get it now?

EVERYTHING in electronics is cheaper in a year. If you don't need it then wait. Just think the computer I am typing this on now would cost millions of dollars just 10 years ago.

However if you need something, then buy it. Because you cannot wait forever to get something. There will always be something better. But many people buy some ipod then in 6 months there is some other useless feature or more space and they buy another.
