We rented a home in July 2008, it is Feb 2009, and we just found out the home is being sold as a short sale, our lease is not up till, July of 2009, if the property sells are we out on the street? Also when we signed the lease the owner stated that if the property was sold our lease would have to be honored, is this correct?
