if I short sale and still owe 100K, do I still owe property taxes?

i have a 417K 1st and 100K 2nd. My realtor told me, we are looking at getting 417K on the short sale, but I still owe the 2nd of 100K. What happens to that debt? How will that affect me and my credit?

yes it will affect you and your credit but no you will not owe property taxes once you sell it, but they will put a judgment against you and will come after you for it.
