Hello,

I know no one here can give me a definite answer but I'm just trying to get an idea.

I have a green 2000 Dodge Dakota, 4 Door, V8 with around 150k miles on it. A few dints here and there but nothing major. I have the title, obviously.

The problem? Recently it overheated and died and it's still in the shop. I'm still waiting to get the final verdict of what's wrong with it but they're pretty sure the entire engine will need to be replaced.

My question is how much do you think I could possibly get for the truck if I sell it as is? I've considered selling it just for parts but that seems like an awful waste considering that if the engine is fixed it will run fine again. Granted, replacing the engine isn't exactly something you can pay without batting an eye (it's expensive) but i'd imagine that I could at least get a decent buck out of it...

Thanks in advance!
