Thread: good reasons for plea bargaining?

I need a few good reasons to plea bargain.

If a plea bargain will get a reduced conviction then it is in your best interest to accept.

1) You and they know you're guilty but they will offer you a reduced sentence if you plea and save themselves and you the time and cost of trial.

2) You will plea to cover for someone else, so they won't get caught.

3) You will plea simply to get a lesser charge so it won't look so bad to future employers and others.

4) You will plea to get a reduced sentence.

5) You will plea to one charge so that they don't keep digging into your life and find something bigger to charge you with.

6) You will plea to get life in jail instead of the death penalty.
