...PS3 to 9.? This is obviously tremendous value compared to the competition. However, my wife still thinks that the price might drop after Xmas even further. What do people think. Should I buy this weekend or should I wait till after Xmas. I don't mind waiting if the price will drop even further, but there is no guarantee that it will. What do people thing?

highly doubt that it will drop anytime soon after christmas. if you look at how the manufacturers typically market video game systems they want to sell as many consoles during the holidays since that is when they do most of their sales and also they are already losing money on the consoles. typically they drop prices in say august/sept to prepare for the selling season
