Can the former owner evict me 15 days after the property sale?
I recieved what appeared to be court papers of an U.D. but there was no instructions or date giving to respond to them by, so i thought they were just intimidation by the then current owner to get me out before the sale. The sale took place and the new owners have not said anything regarding this issue because they know heis a slum lord and didnt keep hardly any records as to rents paid, ect. Now, 15 days after the sale, I get a notice to vacate in 5 days from the sheriff. I never got any other court records concerning this case, and the date of judgement on the writ of exicution is 15 days after the sale and only states the former owner as the plantiff.
