Thread: Bargaining for guitar at a music store?

Im just wondering if that is considered rude or anything like that. I mean i know they inflate the prices tons but is it ok to ask them if they can lower the price at all?

My friend always does this. When he bought his first gutair the price was $250 he asked them to bring it down to 175$ and they did.

Guitars are very negotiable ,
If you don`t like to haggle just say
"hey man whats your best price on this guitar"
and when he give you a price if you like it say
"out the door " meaning tax included.
Now if your at guitar center they may not move the price
to much due to the amount of volume they do
