Are YOU taken in by all the 'Global Warming' hype?

It's all a big con - isn't it? People, business and governments all capitalizing on irrational fear and paranoia induced by 'doom and gloom' merchants driven by the chance to make a quick buck, or extract even more taxes. The truth is, there is no scientifically proven link between global warming and human activities and there is absolutely nothing we as a species can do to mitigate it's - largely speculative - effects. If the UK cut it's 'greenhouse gasses' to zero the world total would be restored within a few weeks. People believe what they want to believe, however flimsy or implausible the evidence: There are some who still believe that the earth is flat - or that God exists - based not on any scientific proof but simply on what 'those in authority' tell them to believe!
As a scientist - see my profile - I am trained to ask questions and consider ALL the available evidence before drawing conclusions! There's plenty to read on the internet - too many sites to list here. The inescapable fact is that there's nothing we humans can do about climate change - and does anyone really think the world will listen to or believe anything we Brits. have to say - unless it happens to accord with their own blinkered convictions? I am simply saying: There is SOME evidence of both global warming AND global dimming: There is NO conclusive scientific evidence that humankind is responsible for either: There IS good statistical evidence that nothing we can do will mitigate the - imagined - consequences of either warming or dimming. So - beware all those who seek to turn your ignorance to their advantage! (The church has been doing that for centuries!)
