it makes algore richer

Don't forget of the 2 (if there's that many) companies that sell carbon offsets, Gore owns 1.

He pays his own "for profit" company to fly around the globe in private jets, to locations where he gets paid to give the same flawed slide-show.

Edit:
NASA knew last spring that their temperature calculations were incorrect. The temperatures were published to be at least 0.5 degrees F too high!

These numbers cited by algore, now show that 1934 (not 1998) was the warmest year in the record books!

So...what do we do now?

The countries around the world are experiencing an economic boom.

Never before have poorer countries like China, India, Viet Nam engaged in as much trade, never before have these countries seen a creation of wealth as they are experiencing today.

Clearly a warmer climate is beneficial to mankind.

Climate change would be a serious problem for the overall economy of the world. Higher global temperatures would mean a shift in the weather patterns. Traditional parts of the world where food is grown may become barren from lack of rain. This alone may cause most of the third world economies to collapse.

As the temperature continues to increase the Greenland and possibly the Antarctic ice sheets may melt. The Greenland ice sheet alone contains enough water to cause ocean levels to rise 75 meters. A 75 meter rise in ocean levels would endanger most of the worlds coastal cities. Many of these cities are the financial centers of the world. London, Singapore and New York could all be underwater.

Energy production could be impacted as the oceans levels rise. Much of the gulf coast would be flooded. Louisiana, which is part of the Mississippi river delta, may be completely underwater. This would disrupt oil delivers and gasoline refining for that part of the country creating a strain on the other refineries in the U.S.

Climate change would also lead to hyperinflation as there is less and less goods to buy at any price. This could lead to wars over food and fresh water. Climate change may ultimately lead to the breakdown of modern societies. This would be very bad for the world economy.
