The web site listed below has a lineup of what's included with what package. However, the Time Warner web site says that channel availability varies by market. The site below is customized for San Diego, so you might have to alter your location to get a more accurate look. As for The Variety Channel, I didn't see it listed.

Does basic Time Warner Cable have the Variety Channel? If so, do you know the channel number? I can't seem to find a listing on the Time Warner Cable website.
