Do you think doing things on a personal level has much effect on reducing...
...harm to the environment? Do you think buying the Prius, eating locally, changing your light bulbs or whatever really has much effect on the environment? If everybody made these changes even, would we see much change? With the population continuing to rise exponentially (some 6 billion now, expected to double to 12 by 2050), if everyone on the planet lived "greenly", would we still be causing harm?
Or, is it the companies that contribute most to CO2 emissions and environmental degradation the ones who can only truly make a difference? Is it going to take the Governments of the World putting their foot down and making strict regulations on everything?
That was a lot of questions.. =)
In essence, is it action that will make the change or the way we vote?
