What if it means that, at the root, everything is philosophy. Which, if that's true, means all the other categories we use in our day to day life are merely distinctions of a type of philosophy. Hmmm. There might be a lot riding on this question on the deeper level you mentioned. I think I'll have to say, Yes. They belong, but it would be better if such questions found their appropriate niche of philosophy. Perhaps, instead of a "sports" category on Answers, it'll be changed to "sports theorizing;""books and authors" becomes "identity metaphysics." The possibilities are infinite!
