How do I unlock the LG Xenon GR 500 Cell Phone?

I recently purchased this phone without a service plan on amazon.com. This phone was originally with at&t, but I want to use this phone with T-Mobile. How do I unlock this phone so that it can work with T-Mobile? Will I need to pay to unlock it? Thanks.
