I want to donate it but I want to unlock it to reset to factory settings. It doesn't come with a sim card but what verizon wireless phone does? Does anyone know the unlock code or where I can find it? That weird 2945#*# or whatever doesn't work. Help is appreciated.

go to settings.
from there, choose security.
it should ask for a password.
unless you've changed it, it should be the last 4 digits of your phone number.
after putting in the password, there is a setting that says restore factory setting

i have the same problem. But when clicking on the restore factory setting nothing happens. The phone restarts but all the old contacts are still there.
