enV2 problems? warranty?

i've had my enV2 since the end of july 2008. a few days ago, my OK button on the outside of my enV2 stopped working. this left my outside basically useless because the OK unlocks it. then yesterday a seven year old i was playing with took my phone and he began slamming it on the ground and stomping on it. it didn't show any damage except for the OK button still not working. last night, the screen doubled itself and flipped upside down, looked like colorful scribbles, and now today the external screen is white and the internal screen is gray. i can still recieve messages and phone calls, but obviously can not view them. is there a troubleshooting step i can do? is it covered under a warranty if i wanted to get a new one? do i have to pay for it? and i also ordered it off of the verizon wireless website if that's a factor.

I had the same problem, and went to the Verizon Wireless store, and told them the problems I was having with the OK button.
Without even batting an eye, they said "Okay, we'll set you up with a new one."
Didn't pay a cent, but it's only covered under the warranty, so get in to the store as soon as possible.

I'm having the same probs. with mine too. I went into the store and both of our store's didn't have any in sioux city iowa so i went to Omaha Neb. the next day where they have about 5 stores or so and none of them had an env2 so they are havening one sent to me.. seems like a lot of bull shit to go thru to get a prob. fixed... i don't think that i even want the env2 anymore there's just way to many probs with it.. the "ok" key don't press all the time. it powers off on it's own. and i can't have that . my phone has to be on 24/7 for work, i love the phone just not this model.. i have never had this much trubble with LG phones before

My phone is less that 4 months old and the "ok" button stopped working along with the * 0 # keys. I've tried EVERYTHING

i know what yall mean. ive had my env2 since august 08. now its sept. 09 and this morning my ok button was gettn stuck. well my 7 8 and 9 keys just quit working..

this is my 4th env2 the first time the charger wouldnt work the second time the screen was all blurry the third time the charger piece fell out again this is my 4th one hope it doesnt break i mean gosh

I've had the same problem as most of you. I've only had my Env2 for about 6 months and out of nowhere my "ok" button, "clear" button and 7,8 and 9 buttons all stopped working. I did go to verizon and they sent me a replacement, which I'm going to day to exchange. I had it for 2 days and already I'm having problems with the buttons, except these are the buttons on the keyboard. As long as it's still under warranty you should be good to exchange it for the same phone for free.

Holy Crap! I thought I did something to the phone. I very rarely use the outside except to speed dial and the 7, 8 and 9 keys just stopped working. I also lost my send key. I suspect the contacts are frigged up...I have the warranty but I'm wondering why I would want another one if the same thing is going to happen again.... Have had phone for 16 mos.

My env2

i have had my phone since about july of this year...the ok button and # 0 and * buttons have all stoped working i thought that i had done something to it so i ahve not told my dad abt the problems untill now...i thinhk i am going to go home and tell him abt it...all the buttons on the inside work fine and i have not had any problems with the screens...but i have one question if i get a new phone will iloose everything on it like my contacts and pictures and sounds and ringtones??
