Does the LG Voyager play MPEG4 video?

I just got my Voyager a few days ago, really awesome phone. I also purchased an 8GB micro SD card for the thing... Not to cheap. I've been converting videos from AVI to 3GP, and they work, but I know MPEG videos will provide better fps, and bit rate, I've read that MPEG files play on the Voyager... But mine just doesn't seem to want to play them... There is Audio, but no video when I go to play them on my phone.

Help?... =(
