what iphone generation works best on tmobile network?

I am going to buy an iPhone unlocked/jail-broken. i am looking at a 1st generation and 2ND generation.. Both are unlocked and jail-broken... also would i be able to send a receive pictures messages? (mms) Also in your opinion which one is better on mobile network? Can the 1st generation apple iPhone work on T-Mobile network? Also both of them are in mint condition no dents or scratches??

You would now be able to send MMS on the iPhone 3G (2nd generation iPhone). All 3 existing iPhone models can work on T-Mobile but all will require the iPhone to be unlocked as AT&T is the exclusive legal carrier in the United States.

NB: The 1st generation iPhone was not included in be able to send MMS but it was recently discovered that it can, though in that case you would have to jailbreak the iPhone & download the software necessary via Cydia.
