    iPhone/Blackberry Sim help!?

So I just bought an iPhone today. It didnt come with a SIM card.
So I tried putting my blackberry pearl SIM card in and i connected it to iTunes.
Well iTunes says it cant acitvate my iPhone because the SIM Pin is required...
Here is exactly what it says:
"iTunes cannot activate your iPhone because the SIM card is not inserted or a SIM pin is required- Disconnect your iPhone, make sure the SIM card is inserted correctly and, if you use a SIM PIN, tap Unlock to enter it, and then reconnect your iPhone

I know that it's placed in right. But theres no screen that pops on my phone that says "Unlock". Im so confused.

The sim pin may mean any personal sim lock code that you have used or it is default 0000 or 1111. Or it may mean the iPhone is locked with a particular simcard's network and it needs a network unlock code to remove the lock. I suggest you can approach Unlock-zone.com and specify the country, locked network of iPhone.Based on the availability you can get the permanent unlock service along with free instructions.
