How much is an iPhone 3G in an Apple Store (UK)?

And is it much better purchasing an iPhone 3G in o2 or in an Apple Store? How much does it cost in o2 and in Apple Store? And i know you need to sign a contract for o2 but in Apple do we have too? Tnx
