Thread: Why won't my iPhone 3g connect to the Internet?

When I try to use the Internet it says safari can't connect to the Internet . It won't do it on 3g or edge. It works on wifi and everything else works but that, what is the problem?

i cant connect to internet or collect email on my iphone it did it this morning but not now it tells me it cant activate cellular data network

Try performing a reset by holding down both home and power buttons together until the phone shuts down, release when you see the Apple logo appear again. If that does not do the trick. you can also try resetting the Network settings. Remember, just the Network settings.

i have the same exact problem...it happened after I updated to firmware 3.1.2

I have the same issue! I have not done any new updates, it just disappeared last night and has not come back on.

my iphone 3g doesnt connect either. when i go on to the wi-fi settings the network name and 'not connected' keep changing from on to the other, it wont stay on the network name to say its connected!!

How do I connect to the internet anywhere in my country? (UK)

my iphone 3g is the same i have recently just got 300 texts and unlimeted internet on o2 and it says i can go any where and go on the internet but its saying fill in a VPN?
and when im at home i try to connect to wi-fi and no networks come up , any one know help me please it burns my head out trying to get round it!!!!
