Thread: why does my ipad keep going back to main menu when i start a game app?

every time i start a game on the ipad1 within a couple of seconds it goes back to main menu. only seems to happen with games and not other apps like facebook

That happens sometimes,
Switch it off and on again.

Hold down the power button on the top then slide. Wait for it to turn off then hold the button down again to switch it on (just in-case you didn't know)
