I just bought an 16gb iPad mini?

And it showed that I only had 12.7 gb left. Is that a lot or no?

i think it depends on your usage because likely on how much apps you download i have a iPad mini but 32 GB i found it its to much more them my usage

if u are a person who download much of apps check for how much space does it take before u download it sometime u need to delete much of things if u want to download a app that takes much

    but to me its enough

but the important thing is to delete a game or app that finished or just an unwanted game

    hope i help u

A 16GB drive is manufactured with 16,000,000,000 bytes, but computer systems use base 2 (binary), not base 10, so those 16 billion bites are really only about 14.9GB. Then there's the OS and all the apps that take up the rest. Considering your average song probably takes 3 to 4MB, you can still fit about 4000 songs. I'd say that's a lot.

[edit]...sorry, you wrote "iPad" but I read "iPod". 16GB would be quite a bunch for an iPod, for sure. 16GB for an iPad may feel limiting eventually. Just be careful to only load what you need or you'll soon find yourself struggling to clear off old stuff for new stuff.
