I'm starting to feel like iPad 2 has no major updates at all. That I'd just be better off with iPad 1. Thoughts?

NO! iPad two has major improvements.
Also, the price is the same - except a used iPad 1. :/
But it's nine times faster, than the iPad 1. That is in Gaming.

it is faster and has cameras and is smaller. the ipad 1 is now much cheaper so if this things are not that important then you should buy the ipad 1
