Violence is usually the result of someone getting information too fast for them to process. Without enough time for a person to rationalize and deal with disturbing information they lash out in an attempt to stop the assualt on their "comfort zone" in their mind. Hope this helps.

Bam! Spiff! Splat! These were some of the first words that I saw when watching TV. As Batman fought heroically to save Robin from himself. I didn't know then that these violent images that would flash on the screen broken only by violent reds and greens that covered the actual punch would later divide the worlds as they discussed violence on TV.

one of my best english teachers told me this and i use it for every essay intro. Fact (qoute, expience, anything that is a fact) Restate your prompt, State your answer to the prompt. then insert a transition.

Ex.
(Violence affects 70% of every household.) Violence has affected many lives, many (things) cause violence and many people including myself try to prevent it. I have also been affected by vionence, (How it has affected you.) After being affected by this i would like to find the cause and share what i think would work to solve such a wide spread problem.

Violence is the manifestation of human frustration. It just depends on the level of control we have over that frustration.

Which is of course an individual thing which is shaped by our overall environment.
