So i'm a freshmen and I run distance on the track team. I've ran the mile a few times. At my last meet I was completely hydrated. RIght before my race, my throat completely dried and towards the end of my race, I slowed down cuz my throat hurt and I couldn't breath well. What could have caused this? I know I was a bit out of shape cuz it was right after spring break, but I could done really well if it weren't for my throat..
