Hello. I was hoping to get a better understanding of (conservative) Lutheran theology. I have a background in theology, but the only real resources I have for Lutheran theology at the moment are the creeds and confessions I've found online, plus one worn-out copy of "Luther's Small Catechism" I've owned for a few years.

Could someone recommend a "Systematic Theology" or "Handbook of Theology" that is well-recognized in Lutheran circles? I'm looking for something a little above the layman's level, such as a book you might give to a first or second year seminary student.
