my best friend has a boyfriend and they're pretty into each other and i have not had one since my last break up and her boyfriend has a friend that they want to set me up with i dont have a problem with it but i have never met the guy and i dont even know what he looks like or who the heck he is. i kinda feel like she thinks i cant get a guy on my own since the last breakup i had. i have been doing just fine and this guy is very determined to meet me he keeps asking things about me and he wants to talk to me soon. so tonight my best friends boyfriend came over and the guy that wants to meet me he wants to come too. should i give the guy a shot or should i tell my friend(s) to back off and ill meet him when im ready?

Meet him when your ready. Blind dates almost always go bad and are awkward. I hate it when there are expectations when you don't even know a person! I would just keep talking to him on the phone. If he's cool, then he'll understand. Just tell him you don't want to force anything, because if you don't like him then you might hurt his feelings. Then you'll both feel bad.
