I have an Acer Travelmate 4200, and the Wireless internet works prefectly. Just one problem: It will connect, then after an hour or so, it randomly cuts off, and the internet doesn't work. It still says it is connected to a Wireless network, Signal Quality is Excellent, and nothing is wrong. All I have to do it disconnect and connect, and it's fine again. But that's the problem, because if I am downloading a large file, and the internet cuts, I can't tell when it does, and when I do, I have to restart the download, which takes forever.

It cuts off at random intervals... Sometimes a few hours, a few minutes, its just random. And I know my wireless router is fine, because this NEVER happens with another laptop (which is another brand).

I think it is just the Acer Travelmate laptop, but any ideas on how to fix this?

The only thing I can think of is, try uninstalling your wireless card from device manager, and then install it again, also make sure you have the latest drivers for your Wireless NIC of the Acer website, if that doesn't help open a support ticket with Acer.

Its because you choose to randomly capitalize words in your question. BTW, why'd you leave 'out' and 'on' in lowercase letters? There must be some kinda rule of which I'm unaware.
But, that's prolly your laptop problem.
