    How can i bypass my school's proxy just like i do for internet explorer...

    ...in connections for poker.? I enter my info for school's proxy in theproxy area
    proxy.nyu.edu
    port: 80

    where can i type this in for a poker site like full tilt or pokerstars

    Just a hint, don't do it. Bypassing a school's website restrictions can get you expelled. Every single thing you do is logged and I'm sure that'd be red flagged fast.

    Using a proxy often causes several problems, mainly with logins that rely on cookies and such, so your activity may not be sent through properly. I'd avoid doing so, especially when it involves money. If those poker sites don't involve real money, you can always get the Texas Hold 'Em portable game for your USB drive from portableapps.com or sourceforge.
