I have fast speed internet....and today it got slow.....HOW DO I FIX IT?

some stupid friend of mine sent me an email and there was a link ...

I clicked on it cuz I didnt know what it was....
happened to be a porn website....and I closed it as fast as I could cuz I dont go to those websites(at least not from my pc..I dont want it to get messed up)...

BUT I have noticed that my internet is kinda slower than usual..

u think is there any relation between opening this website I told you about and my internet getting slow??

If YES, please tell me how to fix it..

It was probably infected with adware. Get yourself a couple of good spyware cleaners. I recommend Ad-Aware and Spybot Search and Destroy. Both are free. After you've downloaded and got the latest updates for both restart your computer in safe mode. Safe mode is important because you don’t want any of the spyware or viruses running while you’re doing the scans. If they are running, the scan programs can’t delete them. Do each spyware scan one at a time plus a virus scan while in safe mode. Hopefully that should slove the problem. See the links below.
