Opera internet browser - Virus blocks?

So I recently downloaded Opera for my internet browsing, after having FireFox for a while. I really like Opera but I might go back to Firefox, we'll see. But one thing w/ Firefox was that if there was a potential harmful site, the internet site would be red and it would say Reported Attack Site!, & all you would have to do is go back and keep on doing whatever you were doing (Internet Explorer would literally make you shut down your computer). What does Opera do, I don't want to try and find out, because I don't want a virus on my computer. So if any of you have it, please tell me what it does when there is a potential harmful site
