is required for a game. The internet itself works fine (see, I'm even ABLE to ask this question). What will happen is that games like MapleStory, Yahoo! Games, Flyff, Babas Chess, etc. will return a server error that it was unable to connect. I have ALREADY TRIED turning off the firewall (both of them, in fact), and the same problem resulted. It appears that either there is something else that either McAfee or Window's Firewall is doing to thwart me, or that the problem is completely independent of the firewall.
I use a Windows XP with administrator privileges, firewall is McAfee and the default Windows one. Internet browser is IE. Please keep all "You're stupid, it's the firewall" comments to yourself unless you have an insight off the beaten I-went-to-the-program-and-hit-the-big-red-off-button path, because I already hit the big, red off button.
