Just got 6mbps comcast internet and its going slow, and got a brand new computer?
I ordered 6mbps internet today, and it boosted up my download speed from 80kbps to 400 to 500 kbps [i dont even know if thats the right speed]
Anyways, it was going fine, then i restarted my computer to see if it would go faster.
And now, its slower than ever..
Its going around 180 kbps now, and its very annoying.
Ive tried multiple things to download, theyre all the same speed.
I did a speed check, called comcast, and tried some more things.
Still no straight answer..
Could it be my modem or router?
I have a SB5101 modem and a Netgear wired router.
