Thread: I've just found out that my extranged Grandfather has died through the internet?

I was looking up my family name on a geneology site, and I've just found out that my Grandfather who was banished from our lives died 5 years ago. Should I tell my Aunt? Or should I forget the guy who ruined my Grandmother's life...

If so, how can I tell her? My father is dead btw. Thanks

because my Aunt never knew him. He was kicked out in 1965 when she was 1!

My sincere condolences. Yes, you should tell her....matter-of-factly, and the sooner the better. I wouldn't worry so much about your grandfather's ruining of your grandmother's life....those issues belonged to them and have nothing to do with you. What is important now is that your family members need to be made aware of his passing. This is a significant development and there may be insurance matters that need to be addressed as a result. Tell them you will never know if they will love you more than you do!!!!!!!!!!!So tell your aunt and your dad and all your family that knows your grandmother(friend's count too)!!!!!!!!Tell them they will be clad that you told them!!!!!!!!and do forget that guys that ruin your grandmothers life cause that is going to make your life bad.
