Thread: Internet Speed: slow, super fast, slow?

Originally my download speed was at 28kbps, but in the month of April it was boosted (and I do not know why) to speeds up to 300kbps+. In May, my speed was reduced back to the 28kbps rate, and I was wondering: how do I get my Internet to get back that high?

On a side note, I heard that supposedly you can call your telephone provider and ask for a "filter." This will increase speed. What does this mean, and how come I didn't need to do this the first time (assuming it works)?

Hi you can try Scanmyspeed.com to test the speed of your internet connection and if you find it to be slow again then you can contact your provider..check your connect speed frequently so that it will help you to find whether the speed is high or low..
