Internet disconnects while downloading torrents?

Anytime I try to download a torrent it will run for a few minutes, then the internet connection will disconnect (if I log on to my router, it actually disconnects and re-establishes the connection). I have tried multiple torrent files, on multiple torrent clients( uTorrent, Azureus and BitComet) and it happens every time. There are other computers on my network that can download torrents without any problems, so it seems to be a problem with my computer. I have the ports forwarded correctly, disabled my firewall, and have applied the TCPIP error 4226 patch to increase my half-open connections and it still happens. I get no errors in the event viewer now that I applied that patch, so I have no idea what's happening... When this happens, again I lose all connection, including on all other computer on my network. Does anyone have any idea what's going on? The internet is coming from a ADSL modem, through a D-Link (with up to date firmware) DIR-655 and a D-Link DSS-5+ switch. Thanks!

Gear Me too!!

I am having the same problem. It happened once in the past and then it cured itself within a day or two automatically. I never knew what went wrong and then after a long time it is happening again since yesterday. It just disconnects when the client catches up downloading speed. I reconnect again and the same thing happens again.

My modem is Siemens sl2-141 wireless and i am pissed!!
I have an onboard realtek ethernet card on my computer. If you have found the solution to this problem then please please please share.
